Second-hand car parts are first class

In Belgium, it’s still uncommon to use second-hand car parts when repairing your car. That’s such a shame, because second-hand parts are still good for many more miles before reaching the end of their life. Plus, choosing these components is beneficial, both for the planet and your budget. Febelauto launched a campaign around this idea in August 2023 and Cardoen was happy to cooperate in the pilot project.

In October 2023, Febelauto teamed up with VLAIO, Cardoen, Autohandel Didier in Waregem and De Jonghe Recuparts in Deurne to launch the campaign ‘Ready2Reuse’. Together, the companies are developing the collaboration advantages in using second-hand car components for repairs. In this way, we aim to set an example and encourage other recognised centers to launch similar partnerships.
